Champions For Youth is a program offered by Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.  It is a mentoring program for “At Risk” youth.  Students are matched with mentors who provide them with a positive role model.  This program has been running in Northumberland County since 2007 and we have had some very successful matches.  I would really appreciate an opportunity to share one of our very successful matches with the public.

This story is what Champions For Youth is all about.  It may inspire others to consider being a mentor to youth.  I can be reached by email at melissa_emerson@kprdsb.ca or on my cell at 905-375-4161.
