As a new Councillor for the Township of Cramahe, I will not only represent the interests of the municipality but also ensure constituents' interests are looked after. I feel that I have a strong reputation for standing up for what is right and I look forward to serving the people over the coming years.
I have been in the education field for the past 11 years and I am presently employed with the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board in Trenton, Ontario. As a public school teacher, I have honed my communication skills, become an effective problem solver and developed conflict resolution skills, which I hope will be helpfull to me as part of council.
My family moved into Cramahe 10 years ago from Toronto to live a less stressful lifestyle and to raise our three children as part of a close-knit, small community. We have tried to build strong relationships with friends and family within the Township.
I spend a great deal of time out in the community helping groups and participating in the many events/activities taking place in this great municipality! As a volunteer, I strive to better the lives of residents of Colborne and Cramahe. I enjoy giving back to the community and I continue to support numberous organizations. I have developed a pride in talking to residents.
