Any resident of Cramahe Township / Haldimand Ward, that registers as a client.

   ABOUT OUR SERVICE

  • Pre-booked service

  • 2 days per week, Monday and Thursday

  • Cramahe Township to Cobourg  

  • NEW July 2009 Wheelchair & Schooter accessible van 

  • Our drivers are screened and trained

 

 FEE

Maximum fee is $5.00 each (one way) to be confirmed at the time of booking 
depending on your pick-up/drop-off location.
 

 

TO REGISTER

Please REGISTER prior to riding.  Complete a Northumberland Transportation
Initiative application form. Registration forms are available at the following
locations throughout Northumberland County:

  • Community Care Northumberland Offices

  • Community and Social Services Department - 555 Courthouse Road, Cobourg

  • Northumberland Child Development Centre - 38 Walton Street, 3rd Floor, Port Hope

  • YMCA Early Years Centres

  • The Help Centre - Fleming Building - 1005 Elgin Street West, Cobourg

  • HKPR District Health Unit - 200 Rose Glen Road, Port Hope

  • Township of Cramahe - Municipal Office - 1 Toronto Street, Colborne

  • Call AT LEAST  24 hours in advance

  • Leave a DETAILED message

  • Availability:  first come, first served

  • Reservation confirmation includes day, time and pickup location

 

STOP REQUEST

Please arrange with the NTI Coordinator if you wish to be picked up or dropped off at a location other than a regular van stop.  The driver will let you off the van as close to your request as is safely possible.

 

 PAYMENT

Please pay the driver when boarding.   Please have exact change

 

POLICIES/PROCEDURES

  • Safety - You are required to wear you seatbelt at all times.  Children under 8 must be in proper car seats.

  • Storage - Space is very limited; advise if bringing large items.

  • Pets - No pets allowed; certified medical assistance/guide dogs excepted.

  • Lost items - We are not responsible for personal items lost or stolen.  Items left behind will be stored in our office for 2 months.

  • No food, drink or smoking is permitted.

  • Please help keep the van tidy!
